Dr. Madsen completed his bachelor's degree in Animal Science at Brigham Young University in 1978. He received his doctor's degree from Colorado State University's College of Veterinary Medicine in 1982. He began his career in Idaho, working in a rural, mixed animal practice, until moving to California in 1988. He came to Desert Hot Springs to manage the Animal Clinic of Desert Hot Springs, which he subsequently purchased, and has been in practice here, serving the clients and pets in the area for almost 20 years.

Teresa has had many years experience in many aspects of animal care. She worked for VCA (Veterinary Clinics of America), as an emergency supervisor in Bellflower, California. She has been a technician for the Emergency Clinic of the Desert in Thousand Palms, and also as a technician for the Animal Clinic of Yucca Valley prior to coming to Animal Clinic of Desert Hot Springs.
